Excellent reproduction of my print.

I gave this to a friend for Christmas. She picked it out with archival matte paper and loves it. She is really pleased with the quality of the print (said it came on a nice thick stock) and it looks really nice hanging.

Ordered this for my mom for Christmas - she loved it. Purchased the square print and framed it in a black square frame, came out beautifully. One of a kind gift!

Thank you for this wonderful print. I've just returned from having it matted and framed, and can't wait to hang it this week-end. It compliments my collection of framed art by adding a new style and genre to the lot. Naturally, it is also special to me because of it's subject/title (my name being Joan and all, not to mention being a resident of the PNW).

Artist's Description

Cochem Imperial castle. Germany. Reichsburg Cochem The Reichsburg Cochem had its first documentary mention in 1130. In 1151, it was occupied by King Konrad III, who declared it an Imperial castle. In 1688, the castle was overrun by French King Louis XIV's troops in the course of the Nine Years' War (known in Germany as the Pfalzischer Erbfolgekrieg, or War of the Palatine Succession), and the following year, they destroyed it. The castle complex long lay in ruins before in 1868 it was bought by the Berlin businessman Louis Frederic Jacques Ravene for 300 Goldmark and then reconstructed in the Gothic Revival style. Since 1978 it has been owned by the town of Cochem.
