Another painting in the Sun Dance collection this edition is playful, engaging and a must-have for people who love geckos! The original acrylic painting was completed in June 2009.
As the name suggests, five large patterned geckos with their iconic feet splayed appear to 'dance' around a bright orange sun - another common symbol in Terry's paintings. They seem to be 'stuck' to the painting, as they would stick to walls in Mediterranean countries such as Spain. The image blends warm browns with deep reds, white and black. The background is intricately detailed with red circles, smaller camouflaged geckos, planets, swirls and horse shoes - you'll spot something different each time.
