This is a fantastic shower curtain. I owned at one time a 1928 American LaFrance almost identical to this one.Loved that fire engine and this great representation is such a joy as a reminder of the one I owned. Nee dmore like this one

Love this shower curtain! Itβs brightened our guest bathroom beyond words. We were in Monetβs garden in 2005 and it brings a smile to my face every time I go in there.

This was our first purchase from the site and we love it! It arrived quickly. We wanted something different for the guest bath and this art combined two of my husband's favorite things. The curtain has a quality feel to it and the design is bright I wasn't sure of the color combination at first (orangey red, navy, turquoise and a touch of black) but it works! We've received many compliments and chuckles. My only regret was not being able to fit the words on without using a border - I was unsure of the colors, etc. Bottom line is that we love what we received!!! LOVE it!
The Wurtherington Diary: Tammy and the Declaration of Independence Art by Duy Truong.
I remembered the Liberty Bell housed in the tower. "I found a bell not far from here. I was told that it had a crack in it and that it has been repaired. Now you are afraid to ring it because it may crack once again. I say we go out and ring the bell of liberty and let freedom ring as it has never rung before. If it should crack again, I say we let it be, as it will remind future generations that we were not afraid to ring it and would not let a little thing like a crack in a bell or a king on a tiny island sway us from our resolve."
"Hear, Hear!"
With that we all pushed through the door and climbed the staircase that led to the Liberty Bell. Everyone wondered who should ring it. Many wanted me to ring it and I agreed only if John Hancock would do it with me. We all agreed that John Hancock represented the entire body and it should be him. We shared the rope and rang the bell.

Great idea to publish the story on parchment paper. It will make special and collectible. Wonderful work, Reynold! L&F
Reynold Jay replied:
Hi Melly! The series will be printed in various collector editions including parchments like this one. After all the diary was well over 100 years old when discovered and collectors will be interested in viewing the original drawings.

On parchment! ... perfect ... particularly for this historic piece .. ; crisp, clean details ; all wonderful :)))
Reynold Jay replied:
Thank you Connie. Glad you hunted this one up!

Reynold, there is something about a black and white image, or in this case a parchment image that allows the viewer to see more of the minute details that we may otherwise miss in a full color image. The details are crisper, clearer. This may be an image relating to the history of the Liberty Bell, but it is done with whimsy and charm suitable for the young (and the young at heart) to enjoy. Beautiful!
Reynold Jay replied:
Hi Karen, I agree. It may very well be the same drawing , however it takes on a very different look when the format is changed. I will make "Parchment Editions" available to my readers.
