The so-called Blinking Eye bridge almost frames the vast building that houses the Baltic art gallery on the south bank of the river Wear at Newcastle and Gateshead quayside.

Ever since I found a small, 110 film camera as a child, I have had an interest in photography, but I've never pursued that properly until the last 10 years or so. I've tried most types of photography and found that it is landscapes, cityscapes and seascapes that appeal to me most.
