"Not every artist can arrive at this level of simplicity and create the beauty you have in this splendid work...Julie"

Wow! This is a deep piece to me. It speaks in volumes... It gets my vote... just love the texture.

Nice work. I like the texture and subtle colors.

Beautiful fine abstrac art!!, Great artwork, Congrats Niemela

Julie, I really like this piece.I like the marks and the scraped, distressed surface. It has an earthly landscape feel to it as well as a bit of mystery.. Dan S.

Love all your abstracts, so can't go wrong by clicking on any one of them (except there are some I've already commented on). This is another beauty!~for colors, suggestion of trees, yellow sky. I want to get younger and paint like you!

Nice Work Julie....go on. wanna see more work.

Julie, I just found your work. I am inspired.

Julie,This is a super Abstract.Love the texture and colors and balance. Super. Thanks for comment on my Brown abstract. Nice to meet other self taught artists....Marsha

wonderful............

Julie, As I get older I love and appreciate abstracts more and more. Our brains must be hard-wired to try to make sense out of what we see, so my initial impulse with any abstract art is to figure out what it is. What I love is, the more I study the painting or photograph, the more I "see", interpretation changes. I love these muted colors and initially saw a train track, along a field of wheat and another unplowed field. I'll keep looking and keep loving the colors! Beautiful!
