Thanks Duane for the feature in your group Expired Architecture. So grateful!

Jim, you make me laugh - so true!

Thanks for the info on Bodie. I would like to revisit someday. That human element seems to be a problem almost everywhere doesn't it ? Take care...

Thanks Jim ! Yes, Bodie is wonderful and a great place if you can avoid the human element. I believe it is still open with reduced hours now for the winter season.

This is a great shot Sandra ! Love the way you presented it... Like you, I love the ghost towns so if you ever get out around Yosemite, look up the ghost town of Bodie, Ca, an old mining town. It is a state park but may have been shut down because of California's financial condition. It is almost a complete town inside and out. It's as if everyone just disappeared, taking nothing with them. You will love it ! F/V

Thanks Ric - appreciate the support!

Thank you very much Bonnie!

I also love old dilapidated buildings like this. Fun to discover I'm not the only one! This is a wonderful peek back through history. Wish those walls could talk!
