I love this painting, Linda. It looks as though a tear is about to come down her cheek. We have all felt the emotion in this painting so it is easy to identify with her. I remember when I was a little girl and we had to choose a poet and a piece of poetry and I was only nine years old and the one that i chose was Alfred Tennyson and his poem about LOVE-"It is better to have loved and lost then never to have loved at all". Wonderful painting. Patricia Maxwell

Thanks everyone and I will take another shot. XOXOX
