This looks gorgeous printed on wood. It is now hanging on my therapy office wall and is perfect. The color is true to the photo. I love it.

Very pleased with the image, color, printing . My selection of printing onto wood is great for this image. There are a few mildly dark lines which are natural to wood. They show through the image and contribute to the image--glad that none of these was over the face of the horse rider.

I like vultures, and this photo really catches this one in flight.
Artist's Description
The octopus (/ˈɒktəpʊs/ or /ˈɒktəpəs/; plural: octopuses, octopi, or octopodes; see below) is a cephalopod mollusc of the order Octopoda. Octopuses have two eyes and four pairs of arms and, like other cephalopods, they are bilaterally symmetric. An octopus has a hard beak, with its mouth at the center point of the arms. Octopuses have no internal or external skeleton (although some species have a vestigial remnant of a shell inside their mantles), allowing them to squeeze through tight places. Octopuses are among the most intelligent and behaviorally flexible of all invertebrates.
The octopus inhabits many diverse regions of the ocean, including coral reefs, pelagic waters, and the ocean floor. They have numerous strategies for defending themselves against predators, including the expulsion of ink, the use of camouflage and deimatic displays, their ability to jet quickly through the water, and their ability to hide. An octopus trails its eight arms behind it as it swims....

F/L This is a fantastic write up on octopuses. Their intelligence is of a magnitude we can only guess since their lives are so short and they can't pass on their knowledge. Imagine if they could teach their young! A zillion F/L:>)
