The beach towel is really just for laying on inasmuch as it is too big and heavy to put around your body, which is just fine. The artwork in it is beautiful. I can't wait to use it.

Wow - I didn't realise it was going to be that big! It's a gift for a young member of the family - I think he'll be thrilled as he's a tractor fanatic at 6 years old. A practical gift too. The towel has a smoother upper side so it'll be more comfortable to sit on at the beach. It seems to have a thick absorbent power so no usual skinny beach towel.

This is a painting of a house across the street from the Lamy train depot in Lamy, NM. Not to long ago my father and I took a day trip down to Santa Fe, Galisteo and Lamy, NM to take source photos for paintings. We stopped off in Lamy to visit the train depot and happened upon this charming house.
Michael Bulloch was born into an artistic family in Farmington, NM. His mother Sharon Furman Bulloch was an award winning watercolorist and his grandmother Lola Furman was an accomplished New Mexico artist as well as the head of the art department at San Juan College in Farmington. Since art runs in his family it is no surprise that Michael became a painter and graphic artist. Michael had a brush in his hand as soon as he could sit up and he sold his first painting when he was four. The painting sold to a friend of his grandmother for a dollar.
