The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. These are creations before the digital era utilizing various methods to create surreal, abstract and unusual images before the ease of digital photoshop. Some images are also manipulated digitally. I have never been a purest in the world of art. I have used colouring dyes, double and triple images sandwiched together, acids to eat away emulsion, oils, gelatine, anything i could think to use back in the golden days of film photography. I traveled all over North America with a Cree Elder, Vern Harper doing vision quests, sweat lodge ceremonies and photographing everything along the way.

Patrick Wey’s work has shown to acclaim in Paris, Stockholm and throughout North and Central America. In the late 90′s, Patrick’s surreal photo-animated special ‘An Urban Elder’ was featured on CBC Television and was later released for sale in video.
