Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print.   Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum.

The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back.   The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

All metal prints ship within 3 - 4 business days and arrive "ready to hang" with mounting hooks and nails.

1806 Green Snake Ledger
“The Green Snake 1806 ledger was created during my three months in Standing Rock during the winter of 2016-2017. The green snake reflects the green color of the Dakota Access Pipeline. The snake in the ledger goes from the oil wells at its tail to its terminus in the ocean at its head. The gears of progress, the chains of slavery and the drills of the oil rigs are represented within its body. Along the way, the creature of progress is pierced by the arrows of the Oceti Sakowin (7 Council Fires of the Lakota Sioux). The Great Lakes are represented by the Eagle. The 1806 in the ledger refers to North Dakota Highway 1806, which goes through the Standing Rock reservation. The Backwater Bridge on the 1806, was the site of the major confrontation between Water Protectors and Morton County Sheriff’s Department. It also reflects the years in which the Lewis and Clark “Corps of Discovery” came through our land, bringing with it the first waves of “progress�...

Robert “Running Fisher” Upham is a mixed-blood Indian, (enrolled member of Lake Traverse Sioux, community member by blood from Salish, Gros Ventre, Assiniboine, and Pend Oreille tribes). He has a history of social justice activism combined with being a chronicler and artist. At age 32 , he walked across the United States with American Indian Movement founder Dennis Banks. He produced a winter count on elk hide in support of the freedom of Leonard Peltier as part of that walk. In 1998, at age 36, he led a 35-mile march about genocidal legal practices in Indian Country.
