Description
The 3.5 tons Steamer pumped 600 gallons of water a minute. It had been purchased for $2,500 in 1910; driven by George Code from Minneapolis, Minnesota.
The Nott was in active service for seven years and then retired. The Tucson fire department bought its first motorized vehicle in 1914.
In 1988 work was completed on restoring the truck after five years, $20,000 and some 5,000 volunteered man hours.
