The year 1935 was very special for Ford Motor in as much as they overtook Chevrolet in sales. It was the first time this happened since 1930. They had made changes to their 1935 V8-powered Ford. The four-cylinder Model A engine was no longer offered, replaced by the 221 CID V8, which was moved eight inches forward on the frame, increasing the size of the passenger compartment. Visually, the 1935 Ford was much more modern with the grille pushed forward and made more prominent by de-emphasized and more-integrated fenders. This model is equipped with oversized whitewall tires, chrome hubcaps with glamor rings on special steel spoke rims.
