This artwork series is based upon vintage US patent drawings of ingenious and notable inventions, in this case, a 1939 Football Patent - "Play or Game Ball." For artistic purposes, the original patent drawing has been rotated to show a thrown football in mid-flight. This would make a perfect gift for a sports fan, coach or football player!
