The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

Painting of 1957 Thunderbird with F-84 Thunderbirds, by designer/artist John Samsen. John was a co-designer of the 1955 Thunderbird, and during his career from 1952 through 1976 at Ford and Chrysler Corp., he contributed to the design of many cars that are now classics, including the Mopar Muscle Cars.
