I noted that the color came out differently on this size of bag, it is distinctly more purple. I happen to love that color also--the larger size has perfect color, exactly like the photo. I love both of my bags.

This tote bag is gorgeous! I saw a picture of it and had to have it. The colors are just beautiful. The size is better than I expected, because it's larger than I had envisioned it. It is practical and functional as well as beautiful. I'm very happy with this purchase.
Ice avalanche on the east face of Mt. Victoria, 3467m, 11,375', at the head of Lake Louise in Banff National Park in the Canadian Rockies. The summit of the peak, just out of view in the upper right, is on the boundary with B.C. I hiked up to the Plain of Six Glaciers on 10-3-1992, hoping to get a picture of an avalanche off of this face. After setting up my 4x5 view camera and waiting over an hour in deteriorating weather, I was rewarded with this view of an avalanche, over 500m (~1,640') in height.
Ed began photographing seriously in 1956 when he started shooting in a 2 1/4 x 2 1/4 camera. In 1962 he started shooting in 4x5 film format with a view camera, and over the next 50 years built perhaps the largest private library of large format inspirational, mountain and nature images in North America. He began digital photography in 2007, both adding new images, as well as converting old film from the previous decades, to digital form. All photos are unedited and unaltered except for the digital restoration of the older film images.
