Description
[ PLEASE NOTE: I'm using this photograph as a SAMPLE so that I can go through the process of posting my work, which will mainly be oil on canvas. This is not a high-resolution file and will blur out to some degree depending on how much you enlarge the image. That being said, I Love how this shot turned out. I didn't adjust the photo at all; it is pure in it's content and color. ]
This stunning skyscape was capured one (personally broken) evening in the summer of 2012 at my parent's place in Northern Iowa. I habitually watch the sky and that evening was so amazing as it unfolded, expanded and set the horizon on fire. The entire sunset was mesmerizing, spiritual, healing. It felt as though the elements were in deep, mystical communion...the sky performing in color and the trees (and I) bearing witness.

It does look like the trees are leaning in to have a quiet conversation!

Silhouettes of trees, clusters of leaves dark against clouds, striated sky and glow of sun at the horizon. Beautiful photo!
