The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back.   The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

All metal prints ship within 3 - 4 business days and arrive "ready to hang" with mounting hooks and nails.

I like the print on solid metal but it's much, much darker than expected, hiding the most interesting details of the work. My girlfriend still loves it but I'm very disappointed.

I bought this for my bathroom remodel in Paradise CA. The colors were vibrant and beautiful and the quality excellent. Unfortunately I never had time to take a picture of it in its new setting because my house burned down in the Camp Fire. Maybe we'll just have to move to Lake Chapala to enjoy the view.

About Gunter Hortz

Gunter Erik Hortz was born in Hamburg, Germany in 1947. ( In the midst of HELL.) Hortz began demonstrating his artistic ability at the age of nine. He was privately tutored in drawing, painting, and sculpture. He also visited the major museums in Europe to study the masters: Monet, Lautrec, Van Gogh, Gauguin, Cezanne, and Matisse. After he left Europe in 1961, he became an understudy of Marc Chagall at LincoLn Center N.Y.C. and an assistant to Peter Max at his Atelier in New York City. His talent was both recognized and encouraged. After his participation in the prestigious International Art Exposition, Hortz was recognized as an exceptional talent. Hortz served in the United States military from 1970-1972. ...
