Amazing photo.

September 16th, 2018

This is simply stunning. I would rather put my phone face down now to always be able to see it. Seems to be holding up and not scratching so far with usage. Very pleased!

I bought this for my boyfriend who just bought a 2018 Harley. He loves it so much. It looks great. Just like the picture. Nice bright logo.

Awesome I love my phone case

They're all fantastic. I should have ordered the thicker case though.

I love this piece of art. This is my second phone case with this picture and I am on my second t-shirt with the same image.

Artist's Description

Featherstar (Antedon mediterranea) swimming in the water. A featherstar is a marine invertebrate. It is an ancient and primitive echinoderm, a member of the group of invertebrates that includes the starfish. It uses its feathery and fragile arms to catch and convey microscopic plankton and detritus to its mouth at the base of its arms. Unlike the closely-related sea lily, a featherstar is a free- swimming animal. It is usually found on rocks in deeper water. Photographed off Levant Island, France, in the northwestern Mediterranean Sea.

About Alexis Rosenfeld

Science Photo Library was founded in 1981 by Michael Marten, one of the authors of "Worlds Within Worlds", a book exploring different ways to observe the universe - from electron micrographs, to images of earthrise taken from the Apollo spacecraft. When Marten started receiving requests for the beautiful images in the book, he had an idea of setting up Science Photo Library. Since then, Science Photo Library has continued to work alongside world acclaimed photographers and the leading science and medical experts to provide a central source of the best science and specialist imagery available. Although the collection started with scientific images, it has grown to encompass all aspects of science and their impact on everyday life.
