My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. Intestinal cancer, light micrograph. This is a section of a malignant (cancerous) tumour in the lining of the small intestine. The granular masses are cancer cells, with tumour stroma (connective tissue) between them. This is a carcinoid tumour, meaning it destabilises the secretion of hormones in the body. It is a difficult cancer to treat as it can metastasise (spread) to other organs.
