Monument Valley is a region of the Colorado Plateau characterized by a cluster of vast sandstone buttes, the largest reaching 300 m above the valley floor. It is located on the Arizona-Utah state line. The valley lies within the range of the Navajo Nation Reservation. The location is used for many films. Wonderful square scenic view with a famous mitten, the West Mitten Butte. Attention was specially turned on the desert sand which is seen nicely wave-like in front.
