Artist's Description
Ricketts Glen State Park in Pennsylvania sets on 13,050 acres in Columbia, Luzerne, and Sullivan Counties. Ricketts Glen is a National Natural Landmark known for its old-growth forest and 24 water falls along the Kitchen Creek, which flows down the Allegheny Front escarpment from the Allegheny Plateau to the Ridge-and-Valley Appalachians. There are over 7.2 miles of trails (the full loop). To see most of the waterfalls, a 3.2 mile loop can be taken by going on Highland Trail and the Glen Leigh and Ganoga Glee sides of the trail. The trails follow along 21 waterfalls ranging in heights from 11 to 94 feet.

I have had a camera for as long as I can recall, and have taken snapshots equally as long. It was not until March of 2013 that I became obsessed with landscape photography. I have never truly experienced a sunrise/sunset, or listened to the roar of a raging waterfall until my first outing in the Monongahela National Forrest (Canaan Valley) in West Virginia. Ever since then I have been captivated by the beauty of the outdoors and the power and artistry of Mother Nature. I hope you enjoy my images and just know there is an amazing trail of experiences behind each one. I reside in Woodbridge, VA and jump at every opportunity to travel with my camera and tripod.
