A magnificent view , depicting perfectly the terror, the power and the glory that was Rome. It is sad, but acceptable, when there is an inevitable decay of buildings and artwork from the past due to the passing of time. But when it is destroyed deliberately by brain-dead religious fanatics, like ISIS who are demolishing precious antique art, then it is despicable and disgusting.

Thank You, Hartmut! Isn't it sad that there are always people who want to change the the history and the past to what they want it to be rather than what it has been? And even more sad, that there are people who want their way of life and thinking be the only acceptable one.
