About Acrylic Prints

Acrylic Print with Mounting Posts

Mounting Option #1

Acrylic Print with Hanging Wire

Mounting Option #2

Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of an acrylic print.   Your image gets printed directly onto the back of a 1/4" thick sheet of clear acrylic.

The image is the art - it doesn't get any cleaner than that!

All acrylic prints ship within 3 - 4 business days and arrive "ready to hang" with four aluminum mounting posts (Option #1) or hanging wire (Option #2).

The high gloss of the acrylic sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

There are two different ways to mount your acrylic print.

Option #1 (Mounting Posts) - Attach your print to your wall with four aluminum mounting posts.   The cylindrical cap of each mounting post can be removed, allowing you to thread a small screw along the center axis of the of post and into the wall.   When you're finished, simply reattached each cap, and you're done.   The mounting posts act as stand-offs and keep your print separated from the wall by 1".   All of the required mounting hardware (i.e. posts, screws, and wall anchors) is included with your print.   Click here for mounting details.

Option #2 (Hanging Wire) - With this option, your acrylic print is attached to a 1/4" thick black board which has a wooden frame and hanging wire attached to the back.   There are no metal mounting posts at the corners.   Simply put a nail in your wall, hang your print from the hanging wire, and you're done.   Due to the thickness of the black board and mounting frame, your print is separated from the wall by 1.50"   Click here for mounting details.

THIS FRAME CAME COMPLETELY RUINED, UPS DELIVERED BROKEN, WHEN WE OPENED THE BOX, IT HAS SOME WAVES ON IT AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE ATTACHMENT.

Very expensive small piece of art which I expected to be perfect. The image was not fully on the background and 3 shapes at the edge have been cropped off. Very poor

This piece was a fantastic addition to my room! It was beautifully done and of such high quality. I had it framed to add to the grandeur of the painting itself. Thank you so much!

High quality. Very pleased

May 9th, 2019

The photo taken is beautiful. Jordanelle is my preferred fishing location and I was really excited to get this printed in the largest format available for my office. I expect to be dazzled by the piece but I am honestly underwhelmed. The quality of the print is blurry and seems too low resolution for the size offered and the price paid. Love the pic but not sure if the quality of the media is worth keeping. I really wanted to love this but am struggling with the decision to return it.

We love our President Trump, because it shows: 1) He is human, and not afraid to fail, and 2) He is indomitable. — “They” just cannot defeat him !!!

Artist's Description

Thomas Sopwith (1803 - 1879) was an eminent geologist and civil engineer who pioneered methods of representing geological features. This set of wooden models was designed to represent geological situations with faults, fold, inclines and strata that were particularly relevant to the mining industry.

About Natural History Museum, London

Science Photo Library was founded in 1981 by Michael Marten, one of the authors of "Worlds Within Worlds", a book exploring different ways to observe the universe - from electron micrographs, to images of earthrise taken from the Apollo spacecraft. When Marten started receiving requests for the beautiful images in the book, he had an idea of setting up Science Photo Library. Since then, Science Photo Library has continued to work alongside world acclaimed photographers and the leading science and medical experts to provide a central source of the best science and specialist imagery available. Although the collection started with scientific images, it has grown to encompass all aspects of science and their impact on everyday life.
