This is a fantastic shower curtain. I owned at one time a 1928 American LaFrance almost identical to this one.Loved that fire engine and this great representation is such a joy as a reminder of the one I owned. Nee dmore like this one

This was our first purchase from the site and we love it! It arrived quickly. We wanted something different for the guest bath and this art combined two of my husband's favorite things.The curtain has a quality feel to it and the design is bright I wasn't sure of the color combination at first (orangey red, navy, turquoise and a touch of black) but it works! We've received many compliments and chuckles. My only regret was not being able to fit the words on without using a border - I was unsure of the colors, etc. Bottom line is that we love what we received!!! LOVE it!
The Threadfin Dragonfish, Echiostoma barbatum, has a bioluminescent lure that dangles at the end of a short rod (a barbel) attached to its chin. The massive teeth of this species are used to grip prey items drawn to the lure. It has photophores on its face that produce red light and allow it to see red prey items, like prawns. Red is one of the first colors that drops out of the light spectrum at depths. In deep waters, red turns to black and is invisible to all, except those that can both produce and see red light. This individual was captured in a trawl between 400 and 500 meters depth in the Gulf of Mexico, 2010. The species has been captured as deep as 4200 meters.
