Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

I bought this in the greeting card form. I have been purchasing cards from Fine Art America for two or three years. Covid might have been some of the reason for looking for cards on the internet. Shops were closed. The main reason I buy cards from FAA is because I got tired of looking for cards at the usual card shops. I could find cards (sometimes) that looked good on the outside but the verses were terrible or it was the other way around...terrible on the outside but maybe a decent verse inside. I pick cards from FAA that fit with the occasion. I figure I can write something on the inside as good as any card company could. I wouldn't buy these cards if I didn't think they were wonderful. The cards are beautiful and excellent quality and the envelopes are equality as good. I am glad I can make a copy of what I've bought so I can keep track of who gets what card. I don't want to send the same card to someone twice. In this case, the card is going to someone for Mother's Day.

This image was taken in Depoe Bay, OR on August 21, 2017. To capture different aspects of the total eclipse, I set my cameras up for bracketed exposures, over and under exposing the images by 2 and 4 stops. To capture any Red Prominences (the bright, gaseous features extending outward from the Sun's surface, and into the Sun's corona) that might be visible, this image was underexposed by 2 stops. This underexposure allowed the camera to capture any of the bright prominences, at the expense of not being able to capture the less bright corona. In this image, taken seconds before the end of totality, you can see several prominences, most notably the one at 1 o'clock.
Mike was born at 8:49 AM on a cold December morn, with a No. 1A Pocket Kodak, Series II camera in his hand and Microdol-X in his veins. At age 3, Mike disassembled Dad's Ansco Cadet I, to try to find the pictures. The Ansco never took another photo. Mike honed his panning skills, at age 16, trying to freeze the 200 MPH action of the Double A Fuel Altered "Panic!" at Irwindale Dragway. He misses the smell of nitro in the air.
