World War II T6 “Texans” on the flight line at Reno Stead Airport. The T6 was used during WWII to train pilots who would go on to fly persuit and fighter aircraft like P-51 Mustangs and F4U Corsairs in both Atlantic and Pacific Theatres. Popular with spectators as well, the world renowned Reno Air Races has a special class of racing just for T6s.
