Agrobacterium tumefaciens in and around a stoma in a tobacco leaf. A. tumefaciens is used in plant (agricultural) research as a carrier to insert (introduce) genes into plant tissues. This is an anaglyph, a red-and-cyan stereogram. The 3-dimensional nature of the image becomes apparent if the image is viewed through a pair of red-and-cyan or red-and-green glasses. Stereo SEM.
