I like this shower curtain and I have another similar curtain. Living in Massachusetts is the connection… I see this curtain as a play on history. The whaling days off the coast and the tall ship could be the mayflower! Whimsical is this curtain and I like the whimsy!

I wasn't familiar with Dutch artist Johannes Vermeer until I found a blog titled "Ripple Effects - Inspired by Vermeer. His influence is far reaching. The blogger used some of the scenes in the movie, "Witness" with Harrison Ford and Kelly McGillis as an example and included a frame of one scene as an example. If you type the words Ripple Effects Inspired by Vermeer, you'll find it.
