Average Rating (4.90 Stars):

I had ordered a total of 4 products from this artist. Three came out really nice. This bag however looked horrible. There was actually no image...it was one giant blur. It also looked like another image was trying to print on it. This was a factory issue, very bummed as this was to be a gift. Not taking time to post pictures....they will see on the return end how bad it is. I don't know how it could of left the factory.....

This beautiful bag was sent to my BFF in NH as a Birthday present. She absolutely loves it. It is soooo her. Beautiful flowers and mountains in the background. Dana Forman is a remarkable photographer and captures all the essence of the scene. Thank You.

Artist's Description

Uxmal is an ancient Maya city of the classical period in present-day Mexico. It is considered one of the most important archaeological sites of Maya culture, along with Chichen Itza in Mexico; Caracol and Xunantunich in Belize, and Tikal in Guatemala. It is located in the Puuc regionIt south of Mrida, capital of Yucatn state in Mexico. It is considered one of the Maya cities most representative of the region's dominant architectural style. The Maya Empire, centered in the tropical lowlands of Guatemala and Mixico, reached the peak of its power and influence around the sixth century A.D. The Maya excelled at agriculture, pottery, hieroglyph writing, calendar-making and mathematics, and left behind an astonishing amount of impressive architecture and symbolic artwork. Most of the great stone cities of the Maya were abandoned by A.D. 900, however, and since the 19th century scholars have debated what might have caused this dramatic decline.

I am very fortunate that I have been able to travel to many beautiful places around the world and photograph them. After travelling for the last 20 years, I now divide my year between the UK and Greece. I think my early photos were not of a high enough quality for selling (snapshots), but they hold special memories for me. As a Scuba Diver I am fortunate to be able...
