A fully grown grey wolf weighs between 18-80 kg. It lives in packs of 5-15 invividuals and preys on large herbivores such as elk, deer, bison and mountain sheep. The grey wolf is found mainly in North America and in Asia, although there are residual populations in Mexico, Europe and Scandinavia.
