A huge tabular iceberg protrudes from the sea ice about the height of a 10 story building, ross sea, antarctica. about 6 to 7 times more is below the ocean. the bright sun in the late afternoon enriches the colour. such tabular icebergs are new, that is less than 1 year old, having recently calved from the glaciers, or the ice tongues or the ross ice shelf.
