The artist is my son and is very talented. In high school he was accepted by Chicago Art Institute but couldn’t afford the tuition. He graduated from Fredonia State University with a Fine Art degree.
Keukenhof, known as the Garden of Europe, is one of the largest and most beautiful gardens in the world and it is open only 8 weeks each year, usually mid-March to May.
Located 30 minutes southwest of Amsterdam in Lisse, a small town in South Holland the gardens occupy approximately 80 acres. Arranged in various settings and mixed colors the grounds and displays are one pleasant surprise after another. A true kaleidoscope of flowers and color.
Each year 5-7 million tulip bulbs are planted and the color parade of tulips as well as roses, lilies, irises, daffodils, hyacinths, orchids and many others, is spectacular. The aroma fills your senses and the beauty is overwhelming.
The Keukenhof Gardens are a MUST see if you are anywhere near Amsterdam and will be a day you will not forget.

Through the years he learned photography and pursued the hobby to the extent that he included darkrooms in several homes he owned.
