Repairing Hurricane Katrina damage. Workers constructing a coastal concrete boardwalk on the Gulf of Mexico to replace one that was washed away by Hurricane Katrina (29 August 2005). Katrina claimed more than 1000 lives and became the costliest natural disaster in US history. Photographed in 2009, in Biloxi, Mississippi, USA.
