These are creations before the digital era utilizing various methods to create surreal, abstract and unusual images before the ease of digital photoshop. Some images are also manipulated digitally. I have never been a purest in the world of art. I have used colouring dyes, double and triple images sandwiched together, acids to eat away emulsion, oils, gelatine, anything i could think to use back in the golden days of film photography. I traveled all over North America with a Cree Elder, Vern Harper doing vision quests, sweat lodge ceremonies and photographing everything along the way.

Patrick Wey’s work has shown to acclaim in Paris, Stockholm and throughout North and Central America.
