Description
Men singing A Cappella on the streets of New Orleans. One musical group would fade out and another would fade in as I walked through the French Quarter of New Orleans. I enjoyed all of them, but above all the other groups, these men caught my attention because they were the only ones singing A Cappella that day. Two clapping their hands and tapping their toes, one snapping his fingers and the other tapping his heel creating a beat for their voices. One man was a base, another a tenore, and the others sang alto. These seasoned men brought a lot of soul that day and it didn't go unappreciated. Their music stopped these three well-dressed young men in their tracks. A younger generation in awe of an older, not-so-well-dressed generation. Just one of the many beautiful moments I experienced in New Orleans.

Beautiful painting, Jani! Your colors are gorgeous. Oh, I see you live in Port Orchard. Is that next to Bremerton?
Jani Freimann replied:
Thank you, Patricia. Yes it is. Right next door. We are sandwiched between Bremerton and Gig Harbor. Love, love, love where I live.
