Average Rating (5 Stars):

Looks like a cheap scan, very dark, so loses much detail. Over all not impress.

November 20th, 2018

The print was not up to quality. It was blurry with bad color gradient.

This is a great art work. It is fun to see your photo on canvas, and to print them here for art shows.

I am extremely happy with the quality of the CLARITY of the print!! The tube it arrived in guaranteed no damage could harm it. And yes, the print did arrive far sooner than anticipated .... I am genuinely satisfied and impressed.

Just arrived two days ago, and I took it to be framed. The image is a bit fuzzy in parts like the trees in the foreground but still a beautiful shot of the foothills in autumn. Nevada is gorgeous in autumn. Nice pic. Just got back from framer. It is beautiful.

Arrived yesterday and took to be framed. I used to live on Beacon Hill in Boston just uphill from Acorn Street. This piece is beautiful and brings back memories. Now framed. Love it.

Artist's Description

Its past, linked to the copper mine booms of the mid to late 1800's, is a colorful tale of snowshoe priests and bustling mining port, starvation in deep winters and heroic rescues, of live and death in town carved out of wilderness. Its heyday has past, the mines long since closed, its taverns, shops, hotels, and houses have been re-purposed or slipped into history....a few summer homes dot the lanes, a historical marker or two note the locations of interest, but for the buildings that remain, one can see and hear their tales...of a town destined for greatness and now slumbering in the forest....

About Scott Wendt Tom Wierciak

Tom and Scott, two self taught (and learning everyday!) photographers live on the tip of Michigan's Keweenaw peninsula, a 45 mile spit of ancient rock surrounded by the majesty of Lake Superior. Scoured clean by the last ice age, the Keweenaw is a geologic and nature lover's paradise, exposing 1.1 billion year old layers of basalt, conglomerate, and sandstones, covered by a thin layer of stony soil that supports a diverse boreal flora and fauna. Lake Superior provides the backdrop to this enchanted corner of the world, her moods dictating the rhythm of the peninsula, calm and serene with gentle lake breezes, the next minute hurricane force gales that shake the bedrock shore with their power...Her winter snows pile high (over 300 inches...
