This painting makes me happy!! The colors are really fun and, like his other pieces I own, expertly painted. I want to live in this cottage and walk into the ocean. Ordered it on canvas - well executed. Thank you for the smiles!

Artist's Description
"A Delight in the Garden" was taken while strolling through a local greenhouse in Rock Falls, Illinois. I am always looking for flowers to illustrate color, detail, and beautiful lighting.

Flower forms are variable, with one head per stem; these can be as small as 2 inch in diameter or up to 1 foot. (dinner plate). The stems are leafy, ranging in height from as low as 12 inches to more than 6-8 feet. The majority of species do not produce scented flowers or cultivars. Like most plants that do not attract pollinating insects through scent, they are b...
About Bruce Bley
Hello my name is Bruce Bley. I am a retired art instructor. I taught in a public high school for 35 years. I enjoyed teaching students and helping them develop their own style of work. I have created works of fish, flowers, animals, and nature in general to give a person the opportunity to see nature close-up. I am an avid photographer and many of my...
