Perfect. My dining room is styled in Arts & Crafts and Art Nouveau, and this is a magnificent example of the transition period. Excellent print and high quality matting and framing.

About Meryl Goudey

I feel one with the subjects I paint. I hope some of these colors also give you a sense of well-being and joy. Painting birds comes from my father's love of birds, as I watched him showing child-like affection to our Parakeets, Aloha and Tweetles. My dad was full of love and glee. Roses were my mother's favorite flowers. I have painted swirly blossoms in her memory. Blue green oceans set my spirit free as does the smooth feeling of oozy paint upon a canvas. May I bring positive energy to others. Teaching creatively has...

I think this painting and "Thoughts of a Feline" are both very sensitive, and beautifully colored, and painted portraits of two 'big cats"!

JOHN TELFER
Meryl, Fantastic detailed painting of this leopard peering through the bushes possibly just looking or waiting for his next meal. Excellent details in his eyes and great detail in his body. Nice colors used to show the bushes surrounding the head of the leopard as he peers out. Fantastic photo, fav, voted, google and tweet promoted and selected as my Pay It Forward in the Wisconsin Flowers and Scenery group
Meryl Goudey replied:
Thank you, John, for such praise. This was the first animal I painted. It hung in my 6th grade classroom for years. I had kids stand up and walk from side to side as they envisioned the green eyes following them.
