We were disappointed that the name of the artist is cut off and not showing in full. We feel the name of the artist is an important part of it and would love to have it rectified

We live in the desert so the Palm theme resonates. The color scheme is brilliant and perfect. We would like to see more from this artist. Where do we look?

I love this metal print. The picture is crisp and colors are clear. We live in the Detroit area and my husband used to sell vegetables at Ester Market when he was in college.
Artist's Description
Chris is one of the locals who hangs out in Jackson Square in the French Quarter. His goals are to have a few drinks, enjoy life and watch the world go by. He seemed good at all of them. We hit it off and he presented me with his special fake dog poo as a memory of my visit. I shall cherish it. :) B&W version.
About Steve Harrington
I am a retired professor at a college in Toronto and taught critical thinking and communications. In the past I also taught literature, creative thinking and problem solving. It was my four tours to India that formed me most profoundly, both as a person and as a photographer. It is a magic land of extremes in every sense of the word. More recently I had the opportunity to expand my world view with travel to the Peruvian Andes, the back roads of West...

Thank you, kk! He seemed like a solid guy to me. Hard to be objective, however, when one has been given a dog turd. :)

LOL steve! Great portrait of a guy who is a puzzle to me. Unlike some of the other characters in Jackson Square, Chris seems to have a very good grasp of the world and intelligence. I see him most of the days I am working in the quarter. He is a good guy! vf kk

Thank you, Odd! You gotta love a guy with a fishing bobber on his head! :)

Excellent portrait Steve. I'm sure that the decorated cap can tell stories about the man underneath it.

Thank you, Bob, Jolanta and Sharon! Yes, fake poo does promote bonding. I'm glad he didn't like me too much or I might have received the real thing. :)

Well like I always said - there is nothing like a gift of fake dog poo to cement a friendship. I like Chris's style and yours Steve! :) V/F
