This is a very heartfelt piece. Originally commissioned by a man whose lover was dying. He felt that he was both handcuffed to his lover as his caretaker and grief stricken knowing he would lose him. The top left corner has words from a Dead Can Dance song, "And there's nothing more dangerous than a man with nothing to lose. Nothing to live for and nothing to prove."
