I started taking family pictures soon after my first child was born in 1977. I took album quality photos using a Minolta MAXXUM 7000 film camera but I did not pursue photography seriously. Over time I realized that photography gets you out to see the beauty around us and it is a very challenging undertaking if you want to be proficient.
