Our art consultant at work proposed this piece, among others, for our office suite, and I said "absolutely" on this one. It was an easy pick. But now it's installed outside an office I don't normally walk by, so I rarely see it. It's the sort of piece I could look at every day, though. I searched for it online (trying to avoid the consultant's markup) and fortunately found it here. I love the choice of colors that make it so vibrant and alive. So, now I have it hung in my foyer where I get to see it every day!

Artist's Description
An Auburn landmark for decades, the War Eagle Supper Club was demolished in 2016. There had been a club on the site for close to 80 years, but it was only officially named the War Eagle Supper Club in 1961. However long the history, it was an Auburn tradition for decades of students who came and went in those years. And as a past AU student, it's hard to imagine Auburn without it.
Of course, landmarks come and go, but they remain in our memories long after.

About Mark Tisdale
Life is full of happy surprises. After just over a decade working in the 9 to 5 cube world, I threw caution to the wind to follow my dreams of being a full time visual artist. That was five years ago! Is it easy? No, but something truly worthwhile is rarely simple. My body of work is wide ranging from photographic scenes of far away places, more near and dear locations, and more fanciful artwork. It's all crafted with a heartfelt love for finding the beauty in little captured moments. My artwork also hangs on walls near and far from private homes to businesses who have chosen to decorate with my art. Whether you've purchased one piece or a house full or you simply admire and share with your friends, your patronage of my art is...
