Absolutely loved my print. The depth and details are spectacular and the quality of the print is fantastic. I framed this in a white frame and didn't have the exact size handy so kept the lower space intentionally open. I love how it came out.

I love this print! Her dress is so pretty and victorian and I can daydream that this is me in another lifetime , contemplating life while visiting the sea

I bought this for a friend who lived in France for many years. Now that she is back in the states she misses France her favorite country. When I spoke with her on the phone she absolutely loved it. It showed all the places she lived or visited. She loved that it had an antique flair. She is getting it framed when she can. This my gift for her to bring up her spirits. She has stage 4 cancer. We live in 2 different cities & are comrades & would do anything for each other. When I saw it in the website I knew I had to buy it. Great work. A big thank you for your talent & putting out there to buy your beautiful map!!!

Just exactly what I was looking for. Next time I’m in SFO, I’ll be sure to wear flowers in my hair! Thank you so much for bringing back all those memories.

Artist's Description
I wanted to do a series of works in grey, black and white tones with subtle colours. I am particularly fond of purples combined with yellows and golds, so it is unsurprising that after I created the shapes which form the background, it became an evocation of one of my favourite 'weatherscapes'.
I would recommend framing with a double mat of black lined arctic white and one of the antique or dull silver or gunmetal frame options. For a simpler option, plain canvas with silver lined black frame looks good, too. It would be my preference not to accentuate or heighten the yellow tone, but keep it gentle... BECAUSE...this piece is my depiction of a welcome but pale patch of sunlight on a blustery, grey day... the kind we have so often in England. On a chilly late afternoon, shades of deepest grey can turn almost lavender as twilight descends... when the clouds are so gloriously dark against a dull, mist shrouded sky, and water pools on rough pavements and rooftops, the sunlight g...
