Thanks so much for your wonderful words Dawn. You always describe things in the most wonderful terms! :)

Wow! What a fantastic, dramatic shot! The shape and flamelike contours and colors of the "window" rock give this such a feeling of movement, and contrast so beautifully with the sandy desert and purple shadows beyond. Gorgeous and captivating work! v/f

I haven't received the cup yet, but will be here any day now. Already, from this beautiful piece of art work, and how it is placed on the cup, it will be a fine addition to my cup collection from around the world. Sandy Keeton, I"m impressed.

Artist's Description

￿ 2013 Sandra Bronstein Photography. All Rights Reserved. Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park shares a border with both Arizona and Utah. It is home to many of the Navajo nation and much of the land is off-limits to the casual tourist as many parts of the Tribal Park are considered to be of great spiritual significance to the inhabitants. Monument Valley is a region of the Colorado Plateau which is characterized by a cluster of vast sandstone buttes, the largest reaching nearly 1000 feet above the valley floor. It is located near the well known and often photographed Four Corners Area. The bulk of the valley lies within the boundaries of the Navajo National Reservation and is accessible from US Highway 163. Director John Ford used the location for a number of his best known films, and thus it has been said its five square miles have defined what decades of moviegoers think of when they imagine the American West.

About Sandra Bronstein

Sandra Bronstein

Sandra Bronstein finds great pleasure in sharing the beauty of the natural world and its magnificent wildlife as seen through her lenses for over 35 years. Having been intrigued by many different elements, in both the manmade and natural world, she strives to discover new and different ways to capture these elements. Her vision provides a window into the ever changing world and, simply put, Sandra has captured and shares with us a simple moment in time. Sandra was raised and continues to reside in large metropolitan cities but has always had a love of nature and wilderness. It was due, in part, to family travels and being an "outdoor" girl which kept her love strong for wildlife and the environment. That love and respect shows in each...
