I think the frame and mat work very well with this, it is really impressive in person. Grouped with a small Grant Wood with high quality lighting it sets the mood for a Georgia farmhouse.

As a child I loved to draw. However, when a high school art teacher tried to get me to paint in oil and acrylics, I failed. Likewise, the college instructor in the one college art class I took told me that I drew beautifully, but when it came to color, I lost it. Fast forward --- marriage, children, bored housewife --- I decided to take a watercolor class from a local artist whose work I really liked. Her classes were inexpensive and since past history had proven that I would fail at painting, I figured that my rejects on watercolor paper would take up less storage space than canvases.
