One of the two bulls on pianos by Michael Parekowhai’s called "On First Looking into Chapman’s Homer". They have been placed on the site of a building that was demolished after earthquake damage.
As a lot of building have been knocked down in Madras Street in Christchurch, New Zealand it has been given the address as number 212, but that is actually across the road.
I love working in New Zealand as there is always something new to excite me. I learned the hard way with film B/W, colour negatives and slides and now love the freedom that digital cameras can give you. As I am often several months behind when I start working on my pictures I am often surprised and excited at what I find. Each individual has to be adapted depending on the subject; sometimes they are nearly untouched and others have hours of creative changes to get them looking perfect.
