Cheap, cheap, cheap. Cheap quality, not price.

The material was sent in a bag and was extremely creased

I am the artist who ordered these items. I was disappointed with the fleece blankets. The image printed crooked on 4 of the 5 blankets and the 'plush fleece' is very different from the plush fleece blankets I ordered previously. No where near as 'plush'. These blankets were unsellable. Also, one of the tapestries showed up with a thread that was pressed right into the fabric which made it unsellable as well. The reason I didn't ship these items back was due to the fact that by the time I received the order, there was insufficient time to return the order in time to meet the '30 day' from the date ordered deadline. This is the first time I've been disappointed with an order featuring my art by way of FAA. Sadly, it makes me hesitant to order again.

Got my tapestry from german customs today. I SO love it! Just wonderful to see art that large.

Artist's Description

An old wooden two-wheeled cart sits forlornly in an overgrown wheat field. Its wood is rotting and its iron rusting. Pine covered hills rise in the hazy distance as clouds build in the late afternoon. It's late summer and the grass has turned brown. Like the abandoned cart, so too has the field been forgotten and the grain never harvested. Just outside of my office there is a small bakery/cafe. A couple of times a week, when I don't immediately feel the need to get into work, I drop by for a coffee and a few minutes of reading. The place is decorated with a variety of bread themed art. Among them is a number of reproductions of European agrarian paintings. Looking at those inspired me to put this artwork together. Though not particularly complex, this image did give me an opportunity to experiment with some old weathered looking wood textures. Thanks for looking! Daniel Eskridge

About Daniel Eskridge

I am a forty-something living in the Metro-Atlanta area -- one of the few people who was actually born and raised here. I'm married and have two sons. By day, I am a senior software engineer. But, by night I am a 3D render artist. I have dual degrees from the University of Georgia, one in Computer Science, the other in Fine Art. So, it seems only natural that I attempt to combine the two by producing art using a computer. Plus, I find that it's a bit more practical than painting as it doesn't require all of the clean up, harsh chemicals, or expensive supplies. In fact, I have been a render artist since some of the first ray-tracing programs were made publicly available in the mid 80's. To follow me on facebook CLICK HERE. Check...
