Great professional work. Thanks
This abandoned church named Wolf Butte Lutheran Church, is over 100 years old. It's located in North Dakota in the middle of nowhere. Imagine how far the parishioners had to travel to come to church in the middle of the harsh North Dakota winters. There is a little cemetery out back, still surrounded by an old metal gated fence. The church is still a beauty, even in it's loneliness and isolation.
I'm a self taught artist who lives along the shores of Lake Michigan. I didn't start to paint until February 2014, and haven't put down the paint brush since! This just proves it's never too late and you're never too old to discover something new about yourself or what you're capable of doing! My love of water guides me along the path of water related art, but I also gravitate toward objects that catch my eye in daily life. I hope my paintings will touch a place in your heart and that you'll enjoy each painting for many years to come. White River Gallery Exhibit - Whitehall MI, spring 2015

I totally agree, Susan. It looks like it was a beautiful church at one time, even though it still holds that beauty.

Hardly anything as sad as a locked down, vacant church.
