This slice of life was photographed on the North Fork of the New River, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The old, grounded, boarded-up sailboat caught my eye as I passed by on my paddleboard. I enjoyed imagining all the fun adventures that it enabled and the memories that it made possible - enough so that the owner refuses to let it go, even though the boat sits unused and decaying.
